‘Bringing a T-Rex back to lift with a little bit of chatbot thinking’
At +rehab we ran regular hack weeks looking at how new and emerging technology could be used. For this week we looked at chatbots and how they could be used in an interesting way, that we could apply AI and learning to, that we could learn from, use as a tool to educate clients, and along the way get us some PR… we did all of the above.
We had an idea - how could we turn a chatbot into a powerful learning tool? But we only had a week to build it. So we needed something that could demonstrate the power of the idea, but was simple(ish) to build. So, how about letting kids ask a few questions* of something that died out over 65 million years ago?

*yes the first question was usually relayed to poo.
This T-Rex was adopted by National Geographic and now calls their Facebook page home...
